Maryland Windshield Law
The Maryland windshield law is the toughest of the 3 local states, Virginia, DC and Maryland.
A repaired windshield chip that is still visible (99% of repairs are still visible) will not pass the Maryland law.
Vehicle inspection in Maryland only happens when you first register the vehicle, not every year (Virginia) or every two years (Washington, DC). Consequently Maryland inspectors tend to grill you on your windshield.
This is why I do not recommend windshield repairs to people that are fixing their windshield to get it through Maryland inspection.
The majority of the time it will be a waste of my Maryland customer's time and money.
